Writing this book has been an adventure, or more properly an odyssey. It took me places I never intended to go. I started out wanting to simply describe a novel understanding of a singular thing, the Creation of God, in three separate parts. However, I was soon overtaken and overcome by the fact that what I had actually set out to do included everything there is, quite literally, not only everything that is but everything that has been or ever will be. In this process, I discovered that to detail the things created, we had need of understanding the Creator, why He made the things that were made, and what their purpose was. Doing so revealed deeper meaning and broader vistas at every turn. The journey was always upwards toward God. At times it was daunting, but in the end, so very worth the climb.

When I say, “In The Beginning will change the way you think about everything,” I am not speaking out of hand.  This book is full of answers and concepts never before presented, certainly never in the way they are here.  Reading In The Beginning will expand your mind and enlarge your faith in ways you never thought possible. Among the many entirely new things you will read of within its pages are:

  • Three distinct and separate creations of God, the Spiritual, the immortal Physical, and the Temporal.
  • The Universe itself provides a time frame that establishes that it is just six days old.
  • God’s creative process for this Temporal Universe was one of “subtraction” resulting from the withdrawal of His divine presence.
  • An entirely new understanding of the Light of Christ.
  • Genesis, Moses and Abraham detail a creation process that includes the precise detail of the Big Bang and evolutionary processes for the development of the Universe and Life within it.
  • The Universe itself provides evidence of a separate Spiritual (Physical) sphere.
  • Did Jesus Christ testify of His ministry to inhabitants of other alien worlds? In The Beginning will tell you that He did and detail when and where that happened; you will be amazed and surprised by the beauty.
  • The Old Testament speaks of Mankind on Earth before the arrival of Adam.
  • The Garden of Eden was not located on the Earth we inhabit today.
  • In The Beginning fills in the story told within Temple walls; telling us the reasons behind what we do and say there, providing answers to questions you may never have thought to ask, such as:
    • What is the real significance of our symbolic Temple Garments and the New Name?
    • Why do we have the Priesthood and how does it relate to our Eternal existence?
    • How does the Temple provide keys to understanding that God truly created three distinct spheres, each with their own function and purpose?
  • We are each eternal because we in fact share our “principle” attribute of being with our Father in Heaven. Connecting us to Him in an intimate way you never imagined before.
  • Two unique understandings of Heavenly Mother are addressed.

In The Beginning provides answers and dispels falsehoods in “traditional” Christian doctrine and “popular” Latter-day Saint lore:  Trinitarian Doctrine was a later fabrication of Christian thinkers and not originally taught by those who learned of the Godhead from the Savior Himself.  The Adam/God theory is false; In the Beginning explains why. Calvin’s concept of “election” is upended and dispelled through an understanding of the three creations and the progression of the sons and daughters of God within them. God is NOT the creation of another God before Him; that is NOT what eternal progression infers nor was that taught by Joseph Smith.

  • The schema of three creations provides answers to difficult questions:
    • The uneasy balance between Adam’s innocence in the Garden, informed choice, and eternal consequence is entirely resolved.
    • In The Beginning provides a compelling and soothing answer to the existence of Evil, explaining its source and the reason it exists.
    • In the Beginning explains the purpose of Life and the Universe it inhabits.

There is nothing revealed here that is not backed by the best of science and the religious truths revealed by God.

Indeed, much more important than what you will learn from these new concepts, is how they will inspire you, changing your life in positive ways, increasing your testimony and your love for our Father in Heaven and your fellow man.

I have been blessed to have received the truths I have shared here. I am humbled by such a gift from God. Though I have labored all my life to learn what I have, I am aware that the most precious words contained within In The Beginning are not mine, but they are those of the Spirit. Uncountable passages seemed to just appear in front of me as I wrote them with a clarity I never held before. I would commit great sin if I did not acknowledge this divine assistance from beyond the veil. (Proverbs 5:18)

It is my wish that as you read these things, the Spirit will testify of their truthfulness as it has to me.  Read In The Beginning and enjoy  ̶  a new vision of the Cosmos and its Creator awaits you.
